The flavor burst of salt on chocolate is exceptional! This bar features Middlebury Chocolates' house blend of four different cocoa beans, for a balanced flavor profile.  They then sprinkle a bit of mild hand-harvested French sea salt sprinkled on the back of the bar. 

Middlebury Chocolates is a small, artisan chocolate maker. They roast all of their chocolates straight from the cocoa bean in micro batches, ground and tempered on a marble slab, then molded, and packaged by hand right in Middlebury Vermont (we began as neighboring shops!)

Their cocoa beans are heirloom varieties (certified organic or certified by the Rainforest Alliance) and are all fairly traded from farms and co-operatives that promote long-term sustainable growth. The incredible quality of their beans is a direct result of the passionate growers.
